The Hidden Years (2012-2017)

A season of formation, discipline, and quiet obedience. This era includes handwritten journals, private reflections, early car recordings, and the calling moment of Exodus 4:2 — God asking, “What is that in your hand?” Your answer: a phone. This is where your voice began.

The GYFT Podcast (2012–2025)

The public expression of your calling. Beginning in 2012, GYFT grew into a daily devotional ministry reaching listeners across multiple platforms. Every message released during this era is authentic, published, and part of your verified archive.

The 21‑Day Devotional Series (Summer 2025)

A Spirit‑led pause in 2025 produced a new kind of work: “Where Transformation Happens One Message at a Time.” This series retells your Hidden Years in your own voice — documenting how GYFT began, how God shaped your calling, and how your ministry developed step by step.

Greater Works 2.0 & 2027 Direction

A forward‑looking era focused on:

  • Wisdom

  • Witness

  • Leadership development

  • Spiritual clarity

This era builds on everything God formed in the Hidden Years and expressed through GYFT.

 

THE CALLING - What Was in My Hand

Exodus 4:2 — God’s Question

When God called Moses, He asked him one simple question: “What is that in your hand?” A staff — ordinary, familiar, unimpressive. Yet God used it to change nations.  That same question became the turning point in my own life.

Moses’ Staff… My Phone

For Moses, it was a staff. For me, it was a phone — nothing special, nothing polished, nothing planned. Just a phone. In a car. With no audience. No studio. No platform. No strategy.  But God said: Use what’s in your hand.

And I did.

The Origin of My Voice

Those early recordings — simple, quiet, unpolished — were the first public expression of the calling God placed in me.  They were messages spoken in obedience:

  • encouragement shared with a small circle

  • reflections recorded in private

  • seeds planted without knowing the harvest

This was the beginning of everything that came later.

 

The Proto‑Podcast Era

Before GYFT existed… Before daily devotionals… Before platforms and listeners… Before any public ministry… There was only:

  • a phone

  • a car

  • a whisper from God

  • and a willingness to obey

These recordings formed the proto‑podcast era — the Hidden Years where God preserved my voice long before I understood what He was building.

The Obedience That Started Everything

Nothing about those early moments looked significant. But obedience is never small.

That simple act — recording one message at a time — became the foundation of:

  • the 21‑Day Devotional Series

  • Greater Works

  • my 2027 direction

  • and the legacy God continues to write through my life
